INDIAN QUEEN KATREENA KAIF

Katrina Kaif (born 16 July 1984[2]) is a British Indian actress and former model who appears in Indian films, mainly in the Hindi-language film industry.[3][4] She has also appeared in Telugu and Malayalam films. She was voted the sexiest Asian woman in the world by Eastern Eye in the years 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.[5][6] Being a British citizen, she works in India on an employment visa.[1]

Kaif made her acting debut with Kaizad Gustad's box office bomb Boom. She tasted success in 2007 with Vipul Shah's Namastey London and Anees Bazmee's Welcome. She has since appeared in films like New York (2009) and Rajneeti (2010). While the former earned Kaif her first Filmfare Award for Best Actress nomination, the latter emerged as her biggest commercial success so far

Kaif was born to an Indian Kashmiri father,[9][10][11][12] Mohammed Kaif, and an English mother, Susanna Turcotte,[13] both of whom are British citizens. Her parents divorced when she was very young. Kaif once stated, "My dad, unfortunately, and not out of choice, has had no influence on our upbringing, on our religious or social or moral bearings."[14] Kaif has seven siblings; a brother and six sisters.[15] From Hong Kong, she and her family moved to China, then to Japan. From there she went (by boat) to France when she was 8, and

thereafter lived for a few months at a time in Switzerland, Kraków, Berlin, Belgium, and many other East European countries.[16] Then she moved with her family to Hawaii, and eventually to her mother's home country of England. Although it is often assumed that Kaif is from London, she lived there only for three years before finally moving to Mumbai.[16] In 2011, she confirmed she was single.[17
It should be noted that due to her poor knowledge of Hindi (and other Indian languages), Kaif's voice was often dubbed by another actress. However, with the exception of De Dana Dan she has used her own voice for all of her films since New York. Earlier, she had dubbed for films like Namastey London and Apne====

Khan began his career appearing in several television serials in the late 1980s. He made his film debut in Deewana (1992). Since then, he has been part of numerous commercially successful films and has earned critical acclaim for many of his performances. Khan has won fourteen Filmfare Awards for his work in Indian films, eight of which are in the Best Actor category (a record). him one of the most successful actors of India.[5]

Since 2000, Khan branched out into film production and television presenting as well. He is the founder/owner of two production companies, Dreamz Unlimited and Red Chillies Entertainment. Globally, Khan is considered to be one of the biggest movie stars,[2] with a fan following numbering in the billions.[6] In 2008, Newsweek named him one of the 50 most powerful people in the world.
Khan was born in 1965 to Muslim[7] parents of Pathan descent in New Delhi, India.[8] His father, Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian independence activist from Peshawar, British India. According to Khan, his paternal grandfather was originally from Afghanistan.[9] His mother, Lateef Fatima, was the adopted daughter of Major General Shah Nawaz Khan of the Janjua Rajput clan, who served as a General in the Indian National Army of Subash Chandra Bose.[10] Khan's father came to New Delhi from Qissa Khawani Bazaar in Peshawar before the partition of India,[11] while his mother's family came from Rawalpindi, British India.[12] Khan has an elder sister named Shehnaz.[13]

Growing up in Rajendra Nagar neighbourhood,[14] Khan attended St. Columba's School where he was accomplished in sports, drama, and academics. He won the Sword of Honour, an annual award given to the student who best represents the spirit of the school. Khan later attended the Hansraj College (1985–1988) and earned his Bachelors degree in Economics (honors). Though he pursued a Masters Degree in Mass Communications at Jamia Millia Islamia, he later opted out to make his career in Bollywood.[15]

After the death of his parents, Khan moved to Mumbai in 1991.[16] In that same year, before any of his films were released, he married Gauri Chibber, a Hindu, in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on 25 October 1991.[17] They have two children, son Aryan (b. 1997) and daughter Suhana (b. 2000). According to Khan, while he strongly believes in Allah, he also values his wife's religion. At home, his children follow both religions, with the Qur'an being situated next to the Hindu deities.[18]

In 2005, Nasreen Munni Kabir produced a two-part documentary on Khan, titled The Inner and Outer World of Shah Rukh Khan. Featuring his 2004 Temptations concert tour, the film contrasted Khan's inner world of family and daily life with the outer world of his work. The book Still Reading Khan, which details his family life, was released in 2006. Another book by Anupama Chopra, King of Bollywood: Shahrukh Khan and the seductive world of Indian cinema, was released in 2007. It describes the world of Bollywood through Khan's life.[19][20]. Khan's net worth is estimated at over 2,500 crore (US$557.5 million).[21]====
